Is Archie back? Ab-solutely
“Riverdale” (8 p.m., The CW): As the jury begins deliberations in his murder trial, Archie makes a surprising request about how he wants to spend his final days of summer. Betty is forced to deal with her problems head-on after a heated confrontation with Alice and Polly (guest star Tiera Skovbye) brings up some dark secrets she’s kept hidden. Veronica pleads with Hiram to step in and help Archie before a verdict is announced. Finally, Jughead leads the Serpents against the Ghoulies latest attack.
“Chicago Med” (8 p.m., NBC): When a sick boy is brought in, Ethan is faced with a tough decision that quickly escalates into a complicated and dangerous situation. Connor and Maggie are put to the test, while Natalie and Ethan aren’t sure what to make of Elsa, the new third year medical student.
“All American” (9 p.m., The CW): This new drama series follows Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), a high school football star at South Crenshaw High who finds himself straddling two very different worlds after being recruited to play for a school in affluent Beverly Hills. Taye Diggs plays Beverly High School’s football coach Billy Baker.
“SEAL Team” (9 p.m., CBS): Jason and Bravo Team travel to Saudi Arabia, where extremists take hold of an underground water source and threaten to release anthrax into the water supply. Also, Ray contemplates joining another team.
“The Purge” (9 p.m., Syfy): Joe remembers the past. Miguel confronts Henry. Jane learns a dark truth about David Ryker.
“A Million Little Things” (10 p.m., ABC): Gary, Rome and Eddie discover that Jon really thought of everything before his passing by planning a surprise outing for Gary’s birthday at a Bruins Fantasy Camp. However, when a grave secret is exposed, Gary’s special day takes a turn for the worse as it creates conflict for everyone in the group.
“Mr. Mercedes” (10 p.m., AT&T Audience Network): After Hodges suffers an attack, Ida, Holly, and Jerome rally around him, but Donna is reminded of her deepest fears. As support of Babineau’s treatment methods dwindle, Babineau goes over Montez’s head.
