Cultural: Pierogi and polka will rule at the Polish Heritage Festival on May 19 at Belmont’s Twin Pines Park; Saratoga’s Hakone Garden will host the annual Hakone Matsuri Festival on May 20; a Himalayan Fair will run both May 19-20 in Berkeley; and the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension will hold its 45th annual Oakland Greek Festival on May 18-20.
